Our exhibition program is made up of shows our crew and artists initiate as well as outside submissions and proposals. We have an artistic committee made up of distinguished Israeli curators and artists that select shows. The considerations for the selection of exhibitions are non-commercial and are based on the values we wish to promote.  This program creates a unique mix of exhibitions and brings together established artists and curators alongside emerging ones whose work we believe in.

Artspace Tel Aviv in Kiryat Ha’melacha is a non-profit organization that operates to promote the importance of art and culture in Israel.

“Culture is not a luxury, but a necessity” Gao Xingjian.

Artspace Tel-Aviv’s gallery lies at the heart of the most vibrant center of Israeli art scene, amongst 13 prestigious commercial galleries and more than 150 artists’ studios. We are actively supported by some of Israel’s leading artists, curators and art collectors.

We pursue our goal through several fields:

  • Forming and strengthening bonds amongst artists and between them and the professional community.

  • Broadening the exposure of art and encouraging direct interactions between artists and the general public.

  • Encouraging the consumption of art and making it accessible to the general public, thus assisting artists in making a living off their work.

About

Artist members of our gallery participate in our community events and open studios. Each artists has a few small works on permanent display in our gallery, and gets a chance to show their work in our biweekly artists wall exhibitions. They also enjoy exposure through their portfolios and catalogs, which we’ve made available for public viewing by visitors and professionals, and include direct contact information of the artists or the galleries that represent them.

The exhibition gallery of Artspace Tel Aviv functions as a visitor center for the Kiryat Ha’melacha neighborhood, providing an access point to artists, galleries, and the professional art community. We provide maps and information about the area and display works, portfolios, and contact information of artists in the community.  We also host lectures, workshops, and social events for the community that are open to all. Come visit and explore the local art scene.

Artists Membership

We strive for a society that respects, honors and encourages the creative spirit of its individuals. We believe that fostering a community of unmediated interactions between art, artists, and the public can create a discourse where art will provide a means to express the human spirit and to evoke new ways of thinking and acting.

Together we can form a Space for mutual and enriching understandings. We invite your active participation in Artspace Tel Aviv as a contributor, participant, patron, or visitor.

Visitor Center

Acknowledging Israel's lack of exhibition space, Artspace Tel Aviv encourages artists to hold exhibitions in their own private studios. Every first weekend of the month we coordinate open studios with our artists, and provide maps and directions for visitors. These open studio exhibitions are a great chance for an intimate meeting with artists and a behind the scene look into the artistic process.
